Dominic Carnival is an emerging jazz bassist currently studying at Montclair State University, where he is honing his craft and deepening his understanding of jazz performance and composition. With a passion for rhythm, harmony, and the improvisational essence of jazz, Dominic brings both technical precision and creative flair to every performance. Growing up surrounded by music, Dominic developed a natural connection to the bass, an instrument that allows him to drive the groove while exploring expressive melodic lines. Influenced by jazz greats like Charles Mingus, Paul Chambers, and Scott LaFarro, Dominic blends classic traditions with a modern touch, delivering dynamic and emotive performances.
